What is Eligibility for the Trade Occupations Stream ?

  1. To be eligible for the Trade Occupations Category, your occupation must be listed in the category’s occupation list.
  2. Applicant must have at least 6 months of full time, continuous work experience in the last 3 years, either in Canada or abroad.(or an equal amount of part-time work experience)
  3. Meet the minimum criteria of one of the three immigration programs:
  • Federal Skilled Worker Program
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program
  • Canadian Experience Class
