What is an Express Entry ?
Express Entry is an Online system by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to select candidates for Permanent Residency. Through this system, candidates follow eligibility guidelines and apply for Permanent Residency using the express entry process. Based on current trends, we can expect the next Express Entry Draw to happen on either July 18th or July 25th, 2023.
What is good CRS score in 2023 ?
A good CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score is one that increases your chances of being selected for Express Entry Draw. Let’s take a closer look at the trends of Express Entry Draws in 2023 to understand what scores have been considered as good so far.
For draws where No Specific Programs were specified, the lowest score was 481 (March 29, 2023), while the highest score was 511 (July 4, 2023).
In the Healthcare Occupations Category, the lowest score draw was 463 (July 6, 2023), and the highest score draw was 476 (June 28, 2023).
For STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Occupations Category, only one draw took place, and the score required was 486 (July 5, 2023).
and same for French Language Proficiency Category , there was only one draw with a minimum score of 439 (July 7, 2023).
Based on these statistics, it can be concluded that a good CRS score would be at least 481. However, if you belong to category-based occupations, it is advisable to aim for the lowest score achieved so far in that category. This will increase your chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in future draws.
